Ensuring that access to the courts and fair dispute resolution remain available to everyone, not just the wealthy or well-connected.

What are the long-term goals of the Canadian Access to Justice Coalition?

To ensure that access to the courts and fair dispute resolution remain available to everyone, and to ensure that the voices of individuals and victims are not drowned out by larger corporate interest.

How does the Canadian Access to Justice Coalition differ from other legal organizations?

We are solely dedicated to advocating for increased access to justice for all Canadians. Other legal organizations have many diverse interests that they must satisfy. Often times they must reach consensus which means balancing the interest of the public with those of large corporate defendants or governments. Sometimes, the voice of the public - the very people the justice system is supposed to serve - goes unheard.
